1.The Global Master Program of Life Sciences (GMPLS) focuses on studying and researching in a diverse field in life sciences. The program is supported by professors throughout the five Departments in the College of Life Sciences, including Aquatic Bioscience, Food Science, Biological Resources, Biochemical Sciences & Technology, and Microbiology Immunology & Biopharmaceuticals. Prospective students can choose their academic advisor with specific research field of interest in the College of Life Sciences.
2.The GMPLS is designed to cultivate expertise in life science and biotechnology.
3.The GMPLS provides an English learning environment, so students can communicate and learn without language barrier. All courses will be taught in English. We hope international students can benefit from this program and gain more knowledge. There will also be plenty of time to enjoy the Chinese culture and communication with local students.
Students should complete at least 30 credits for graduation, including 10 credits of compulsory courses (3 credits for Special Topics in Life Sciences, 4 credits for Seminar (I) (II), 3 credits for Biostatistics), 14 credits for electives and 6 credits for thesis.
