The faculty members in the MA program in Language Research and Teaching have rich research interests and experiences that are complementary to each other. We offer graduate courses that systematically merge theories and applications to allow our students to (1) understand the nature of native and foreign language learning, (2) apply theoretical aspects in foreign language teaching and assessment, and (3) acquire the ability to take advantage of technology in practicing forieng language teaching and research. Ultimately, students will be equipped with the ability to view research questions from different perspectives and deal with practical issues fundamentally.
Graduate students of the MA Program in Language Research and Teaching must complete all three Required Courses (9 credits), at least 18 credits of Elective Courses, and 4 credits of Thesis Courses.
