Course—
“English for Culture Business Purposes” emphasizeslocal culture through global marketing.
Based on innovative cultural knowledge and business communication, various coursesare opened
and establish essential business knowledge and intercultural conception for students.
“English for Educational Purpose” emphasizes on theory of language teaching and practice.
It also connects computing technology and develops CALL (computer assisted language learning).
Teacher can build up a network platform of writing and reading system so that the student can learn after class.

Practical Training—
Besides course, we have special project and practical training. Student has opportunity to get in touch with any field.
Also, practical training promotes the abilities for student to find, integrate and apply.
Therefore, student becomes more competitive in college and in job market.

Master’s Program and In-service graduate program—
Theory and practice are two things that master’s program emphasizes.
Also, based on ESP(English for Special/Specific Purposes) and CALL,
“English for Culture Business Purposes” and “English for EducationalPurposes” are divided into two set.
“English for Culture Business Purposes” emphasizes local culture through global marketing.
Based on innovative cultural knowledge and business communication, various courses are opened
and establish essential business knowledge and intercultural conception for students.

“English for EducationalPurposes” emphasizes on theory of language teaching and practice.
It trains students up foreign language teaching and research which help and provide
in-service teachers with the way learning English.
In-service undergraduate program recruits students who work over two years in any institution,
school orenterprise. After entering school, they can join a selection held by Teacher Education Center
and then take practice of secondary education.

Diverse learning—
We encourage students to experience all kinds of learning like applying studying abroad, teacher education,
minor and double major. In order to train up a global perspective and professional foreign language teacher,
master’s class of Yuntech and University of Canberra (UC) have contracted “English for Educational Teaching”
master as dual degrees system. Another contract is with Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
We contracted “English for Culture Business Purposes master as dual degrees.
Postgraduates have to learn one year in school and then go to UC or QUT for another year.
Once they get the credits and finish master’s thesis, they can have double major of UC or QUT.

Improvement and development—
To build up self-improvement ability and find out target positioning, being and doing are the points.
We put effort to strengthen the goal and cooperate with industry. Therefore, they come up a series of
solutions and tactics. Firstly, according to society and industry change, courses need to be adjusted if necessary.
Secondly, learn how the industry works through company field trip so that it can broaden student’s horizon
and improve student’s practical ability and employment competitiveness. Thirdly, carry out internship,
adjust practical courses and raise practice hours. Moreover, increase cooperation with industry,
which can shorten the distance between educational circle and industry circle.

In order to carry out the need of industry, we will train a talent who needs to accept challenges,
overcome difficulties and turn defeat into victory. Not only do we develop student’s English ability
and knowledge but also expertise and skills. Accordingly, we will plan a further English teaching course
and cultural course. Also, industry insider will be invited to lecture and share the practical experience
so that it can enhance the competitiveness of students.

Teaching facilities—
We have multi-media guide, creativity learning system, English learning corner, provide English e-book,
English table games, ESP Café and so on.
In addition, we have 10 classrooms for teachers to teach and do research. Nine of them are professional classrooms
and one normal classroom. 17 offices are for teachers. Furthermore, we have DAFL library, Discussion Corner,
research room and English writing center, which provide students space to discuss and read.
