The Institute currently has 15 full-time teachers, 8 part-time teachers, with teachers' expertise, combined with the different fields of biological and medical information of the integrated studies. Our curriculum in theory and practice particularly emphasize on the concept of communication and technology application level, giving students maximum flexibility in course selection to meet the diversity of the students' future career planning.

Medical informatics is an interdisciplinary science.We often invited domestic and international scholars and experts in related fields to participate in the teaching and research. This Institute organizes and participates in various international medical information seminars in recent years. We also applies for the "Xuehai Dream" Program of the Ministry of Education to send several outstanding teachers and students to the U.S. National Institutes of Health for a period of one month of study, in order to increase the diversity of medical research information, and promote domestic scientific research, medical information and enhance the quality of care as the ultimate goal.
