The GILIS aims to train professional and management personnel for libraries and information service institutions as well as to cultivate students' information services, information applications and innovation capabilities. Our research areas include “public services & user behavior study,” “children's library services,” “information architecture and visualization,” “e-learning,” “information sciences,” “new media,” and “interdisciplinary studies of culture and technology.”
