Students must develop two foreign languages as well as develop skills in order to meet the needs of specific industries. It has also always focused on cross-disciplinary practices by facilitating students in obtaining professional certifications, internships, and industry employment experience. Graduate students must acquire one graduate certification, one degree certification, two foreign language certifications, and a professional license.
The French Department allows students to be cross-trained through foreign languages in tourism, culture, education, MICE industries, and translation.
The school has a total of eight sister schools in France. Every year, 28 students from Wenzao participate in educational exchanges in France. Wenzao has signed agreements for educational exchanges with France’s Department of Law and the Rennes School of Business, along with Wenzao’s International Business Department, to develop a Master’s Degree Cooperation Program. Wenzao also has signed educational exchange agreements with the European Business School in Kaliningrad, Russia.
Students also get various opportunities to participate in a variety of overseas internships to several countries. Overseas Internships include volunteer English and Chinese teaching in developing countries, hospitality and hotel jobs in various countries, or working in international companies as Chinese language translators. Students have also gotten internships as translators and Chinese language delegate hosts. Wenzao’s French Department was given the opportunity to send 5 out of the 15 Chinese speaking intern students to the Annual CIEP conference in France. They assisted Chinese speaking guests and provided French to Chinese translation. Since 2016, students from our French department have also been accepted for internships in hotels in Tahiti.
