　　The Institute of Physical Education, Health and Leisure Studies (PEHL), founded in 2005, is an integral part of today’s lifelong education. One of largest and top institutions of its kind in Taiwan, the PEHL offers a master program leading to careers as educational and health-related specialists, recreational managers, physical education and health-related educator, coaches and researchers.
　　These research- and practice-oriented experiences are provided through its three laboratories: Exercise Physiology, Sports Biomechanics and Recreation and Leisure Studies. Moreover, these centers and laboratories offer numerous opportunities for research with highly cited faculty. Faculties in the institute are ranked among the most productive researchers in Taiwan.
