Students will have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge astronomy research projects using observational data from world-class telescopes, such as AKARI space infrared telescope, and Subaru 8m optical telescope. Research topics include distant black holes, dark energy, galaxy clusters, and cosmic star-formation history. Students will have an opportunity to present results at Astronomy Society meeting in Taiwan, and publish a paper in a professional journal. Starting dates are flexible.
