Green Technology and Sustainable Energy Laboratory (GTSE) welcomes interested students in doing internship at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology. Research topics include water treatment technology for emerging contaminants using nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and forward osmosis membrane filtration systems, membrane modification and fabrication skills, and renewable energy harvesting from waste biomass and sludge. Our aim is to help you explore your potential while experiencing cultural and classroom atmosphere and seeking higher studies in Taiwan.
The selected students will undergo 6-11 months of internship training in GTSE lab. Through hands-on operation, students here have the opportunity to learn and improve their experimental skills in membrane filtration, modification and fabrication, waste reduction and reuse for renewable energy, and the related applications in the field. Students will be supervised in individual and group meetings, and will have an opportunity to present results at conferences in Taiwan and publish a paper in a professional journal. Their outcomes will impact the scientific understanding and strengthen the connection between Taiwan the collaborated countries.
Students pursuing Bachelor/Master/Doctoral studies with any specialization in Environmental Engineering, Polymer, Chemistry, Energy, or any other related fields. Graduated students are also welcomed to apply.
We prefer those who can stay for at least 6 months. Starting dates are flexible.
