How to balance economic development without creating a negative impact on the environment is a major issue. Our previous research shows that the problem of antibiotics contaminating water sources has existed. In recent years, hydrogen has been said to be one of the cleanest energy sources. Therefore, this study aims to treat wastewater containing antibiotics and to simultaneously produce hydrogen. The parameters are controlled to obtain the optimal conditions for the degradation of the pollutants and hydrogen production. The electrospinning technology was used to make cerium oxide-containing fibers. The cerium oxide was irradiated with light for hydrogen generation and simultaneously degradation of antibiotic-containing wastewater.
