The research topics of our lab are related to devices for optical energy conversion, such as solar cells and photodetectors. In the past, we have demonstrated that graphene oxide (GO) has the potential to passivate the surface of photodetectors and solar cells. We would like to utilize the passivation effect on more devices in the future. We found that the passivation effects contributed by GO will degrade with high-temperature treatment. This founding encourages us to develop solar cell process without high-temperature damage on GO. We would like to refer to the experience of transition metal oxides on n-Si photodetectors to develop transition metal oxides on n-Si solar cells. We will introduce graphene oxide, fluorographene, Al2O3 to passivate the rear or top surface of n-Si. We will comprehensively investigate the phenomenon of Al reduction from Al2O3 with graphene oxide assistance at high temperature. Finally, we would like to study on VOx family with focusing on VO2. We would like to utilize VO2 as heat blocking material for solar panels. Welcome to join us.
