Department of Biology, National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan is glad to announce a TEEP@AsiaPlus program aimed to provide high-quality internships for college-level students and graduates who are interested in biotechnology and digital learning. The internship program, sponsored by the Ministry of Education Taiwan, will last 6 months from 1st July to 31st December 2019, and includes a hands-on workshop and a mini research project on topics of the intern’s choice; the topics include Animal Biotechnology (Dr. Chi-Ying Lee; email@example.com), Marine Biotechnology (Dr. Chuian-Fu Ken; firstname.lastname@example.org), Molecular Nutraceutics (Dr. Chiu-Lan Hsieh; email@example.com), Fungus-Insect Symbiosis (Dr. Chi-Yung Lai; firstname.lastname@example.org), Game-based Science Learning (Dr. Meng-Tzu Cheng; email@example.com), Cognition and Learning (Dr. Wen-Chi Chou; firstname.lastname@example.org), and Microbial Ecology (especially on yeast, algae but not limited, Dr. Jui-Yu Chou, email@example.com). The internship carries a stipend of 15,000 NT$/month, with the possibility of enrolling in degree-seeking graduate programs in biotechnology and science education. Cultural programs will be provided by the Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs, NCUE to help orient incoming interns; on-campus dormitory is available with advance reservations. Students are invited to send her/his résumé by 31st January 2019 directly to the principle investigator whose field of study one wishes to pursue.
