Introduction
The Education Department enjoys an enduring history and has made great contributions to the development of the university. Our goal is to train professional talents of Educational theory, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Administration and Entrepreneurship. The Program emphasizes on theory and practice, localization and internationalization.

Curriculum Planning for Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students studying the program of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) need to complete at least 149 credits. The B.Ed. Program consists of general education courses (30 credits), common curriculum courses (4 credits), foundational courses (39 credits), core curriculum courses (28 credits), specialty courses (33 credits) and optional courses (15 credits).

Curriculum Planning for Graduate Students
1.Graduate Institute of Elementary Education Master's Program, Department of Education
There are eight research areas of the EdD program: 1) Educational Theories, 2) Curriculum and Instruction, 3) Early Childhood Education, 4) Science Education, 5) Science 6) Special Education, 7) Physical Education, Health & Recreation, and 8) Educational Administration and Entrepreneurship. A minimum of 30 credits is required, which comprise 4 credits of independent study, 3 credits of foundational-education courses, 4 credits of educational-research methods and instruments and 12 credits of elective courses in a specific area of concentration. There are also 7 credits to be taken with degree programs outside the department. A doctoral dissertation is also required.

2.Master Program in Mathematics and Science Education, Department of Education
The programs include research methods, curriculum design and development, teaching strategies, assessment techniques, and history and philosophy of mathematics or of science. Students in Master’s programs in Mathematics and Science Education are required to complete 36 credits, including 6 thesis credits. The core courses include methodology, mathematics and science education, and foundations for mathematics, science, and computer science.

3.Department of Education for PhD
