MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Department of Accountancy is PI3 (π): Professionalism, Integrity, Innovation, and Internationalization. Our programs provide the solid knowledge base and conceptual infrastructure for our student training that our graduates will strive to make valuable and lasting contributions as business professionals in a global business community. The department offers students the opportunity to develop practical skills and to acquire general knowledge in accounting, a field with promising career and post-graduate research opportunities.


INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION & COOPERATION

Our College of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Being AACSB-accredited means a business school is able to continuously pass a strict set of standards that are designed to ensure quality.

The NCKU Department of Accountancy has been certified by CPA Australia. Graduates with our bachelor degree can be exempted from the level I credential evaluation process and directly take the level II Australia CPA exam, which confirms our high teaching quality has reached the world-class level.


STUDENT CAREER

With excellent professional knowledge, our graduates are highly competitive on job markets. Our alumni mostly pursue careers in international audit firms, public & private companies, and governmental institutions. Additionally, some of them pursue a career in global higher education institutions.

GLOBAL DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAM

The NCKU Department of Accountancy encourages students to develop global vision and established double degree master programs with the following schools: Lancaster University (UK), Southern Illinois University (USA), and University of Queensland (Australia).

一、 發展重點
會計系使命目標為PI (π)：Professionalism(專業素養)、Integrity(誠信正直)、Innovation(創新研發)、Internationalization(國際視野)，本系的學程在對學生的訓練中奠定紮實的知識基礎與概念架構，使得學生畢業後能以其商業專長為全球商務體系帶來價值創造和持續性的貢獻，本系亦提供學生加強在會計實務上的技巧，保證學生未來的職業生涯和繼續就讀研究所的機會。
二、 國際accreditation和合作
本校管理學院已取得國際商管學院促進協會(AACSB)的認證，此認證表示本校管理學院在全球商學院校中已取得很高的成就，亦表示本校管理學院能繼續維持嚴謹的標準以確保本校管理學院的高品質。
本系亦已經取得澳洲會計師公會的認證，表示本系畢業生可以在取得澳洲CPA的考試中，免除level I的考試流程而直接進入level II，此亦隱含本系教學品質已具有世界級水準。
三、 畢業生出路
由於學有專精，訓練紮實，使得本系畢業生於就業市場上具有高度競爭力。無論是在上市公司、私人公司、政府機構甚至國際審計公司等，皆可看到本系系友活躍其中，除此之外，在國際高等教育機構任教亦是本系系友選擇之一。
四、 全球雙學位學程
本系鼓勵學生拓展全球視野，因此和下列學校設立雙學位碩士學程：
Lancaster University (UK), Southern Illinois University (USA), 和University of Queensland (Australia).
