I am currently studying Educational Leadership and Management development (ELMD). The subject that program study is International education and development, educational leadership, research method, Taiwan culture etc.

What I had enjoyed the most in my study is my professor they are very friendly and they are willing to help us to improve a lot, whatever that we have questions of study they are always there to help us.

On the other hand, my classmate and my senior they are also very helpful if I don’t know anything I also can ask them, the circumstance of study is like we come to learn from each other, we do not come for competition this is a good thing that I like.

Furthermore, in my subject that I study like research method and leadership subject we also have the field trip this is my favorite part of the study because it is open my eyes to see more outside the classroom and explain me more what the textbook has said.

3. How is studying in Taiwan when compared to studying and being a student in your home country? (Teaching Quality、Environment、School Equipment、Laboratory or others)

About comparison when I was studying in my home and studying here in Taiwan at CCU is quite different

First, university is so big and very beautiful, I feel like CCU is good for detail a lot, there are flowers surrounding everywhere in campus even in student dorm, not only CCU, I also has a chance to visit my friends in Taipei and Tainan and there is unique beautiful, this thing I think is good that can make students enjoy in campus and feel relax to students. In their free time like weekend they are can read a book, or group work around their campus as well, different as my home university even there is already decorate but if compare is not beautiful and not tidy as in Taiwan.

Second, teaching quality. I feel that studying in Taiwan; professors are friendly and willing to help students.

Third, school equipment is very convenience, there are a projector and speaker in the classroom but in my home university just only some, and library in here CCU Taiwan is very big and there are lots of books to read, when I would like to research a book that I want I just search there lots of choices for me to choose and library is very technical and very convenient when you would like to borrow the book and sent the return book just use the machine different from my home that still use library keeper to do the job.

Forth, there are lots of club activities for students who would like to join too, this is very good chance for students to practice their extra-curriculum activities as well as they can create their good memories with their friends in school that it will create a connection in the future and come back to develop the school. In my home, although will have an activity but not regards for the club because we focus more on academic study.

And finally, school security is great I feel safe with I am at school area, there is police around, emergency notice and the school building and dorm are safe because we need the student card to enter the door, this is really great.

I think, my most difficult part about applying to study in Taiwan is communication because in Laos we don’t have the coordination for the student who willing study in Taiwan, so at first it made me confuse who I can communicate with.

Then I try to contact headquarter of ICDF directly and got the info that I have to contact with the representative in Vietnam so I contact them often as the main coordinator.

Second, It might be transportation because Laos and Vietnam where I have to run the documents are quite far.

So, How I overcome of this situation, I have to read suggestion carefully and following all the steps that coordination suggestion and I plan the time well to travel to run every document in Vietnam on time.
