There are so many reasons why I decided to study in Taiwan, firstly, because in year 2016, I came to travel in Taiwan first time which was one of my impressive moment, so I’d decided to find some scholarship in Taiwan and I got it! Moreover, I heard from some of my senior whom had just graduated from Taiwan that time, she’s a scholar student too. She told me about her great experiences in this country which really made me want to study in this country.
I’m a master’s degree student in National Cheng Kung University, studying International MBA, which make me quite proud of it. The most enjoyment in my studies would be my new international friends, I have never thought that I would make friends from these countries before, such as Mongolia, Burkina Faso, Swaziland, and even my neighborhood country like Indonesia. They are very good friends from different cultures! I’ve heard about their countries a lot which makes me learn a lot of things from what they told me. We exchanged lots of cultures, foods and even our languages.
I think it’s not that much different from my country in teaching quality (but all of schools have no equality in teaching quality). But others are better such as the environment, Taiwanese people are very kind, they always help me with everything when I have some problems and almost of them are disciplined person with a good mindset (like waste segregation and management). This country is very clean compare to my country. The school equipment here was prepared for us more than in my country which has few budgets for developing the education.
Also, after staying in Tainan city, I fond of this city because of the tasty food and it’s full of art decorations around the city. Sometimes, there hold up some art exhibitions which always make me have so many activities outside.
The most difficult part would be plenty of legalized documents and also some university’s websites are hard to find required information, so it quite takes time to find the information such as the information about each university scholarship.
I’ve planned to work here after graduation because I fond of this country and I want to improve my Chinese language to the professional level too.
The environment, teaching quality and others would really make Taiwan be the better place for studying. Taiwan is one of the best-developed countries in the world. That’s why it will be a great opportunity for studying and working here. The most benefit would be Chinese language which is widely used now. Moreover, I’ve planned to create my own business to become in global level so the best way to succeed it is to learn from a developed country which has plenty of successful global businesses like Taiwan.
My key achievements are attempt, tolerance and work hard. I believe that “There are no shortcuts to success”. I have to work hard to succeed in what I need. I have to try again when I fail to what I did if it still has a chance and I have to be patient with it too, but if it makes I feel stress, I will take a rest and continue what I have to do again.
If you want to try new things with new experiences, you will discover them here in Taiwan. People here are very kind, so you don’t have to worry about staying here for studying. Taiwan is one of the safest countries in the world, so you can definitely survive here. The education here prepares you plenty of knowledge with technological equipment and professional instructors. Also, this country is very clean, you will hardly find some trash on the ground.
Talking about the activities outside the class, according to topography of Taiwan, half of this country is mountains, there are so many attractive destinations if you like nature. I really like to ride a bicycle along the beautiful scenery here.
