Mr. Israel Strulov, Representative of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, met with Prof. Tzu-Bin Lin, Executive Director of the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET), to exchange views on higher education developments in Taiwan and Israel and explore potential avenues for future collaboration.
During the meeting, Representative Strulov learned more about FICHET’s role in bringing together Taiwan’s universities, promoting Mandarin language education, and advancing international cooperation in higher education. He also shared insights into the structure and development of Israel’s higher education system, highlighting opportunities for future academic engagement between the two sides.
The discussion also focused on potential areas for future cooperation. Both sides expressed their hope of further enhancing connections between higher education institutions in Taiwan and Israel, creating additional opportunities for academic exchange. Prof. Lin noted that FICHET will continue to serve as a platform for international higher education cooperation, facilitating dialogue and collaboration between Taiwan and higher education institutions around the world while strengthening global academic connections.
