1) The International Chinese Language Program (ICLP) at National Taiwan University is the world’s premier language institution for the instruction of both modern and classical Chinese. Founded in 1963 as the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies (IUP), it provides a year-long intensive language training program in a Mandarin speaking area which upholds much of it traditional Chinese heritage and culture within the framework of a modern democratic society. ICLP studies hail from all corners of the world. 75% of our alumni currently hold jobs in academia: the rest 25% are in politics, law, and business.

2) The Chinese Language Division (CLD), Language Center at National Taiwan University was established in 1984, with dozens of years' experience in Chinese language programs. It offers intensive season program, which is 3 hours per day, from Monday to Friday and 3 months per season. The small classes with only 5 to 7 students in each class guarantees the learning quality and students' chances of practice. Aside from Chinese language training, various cultural activities and language exchanges are offered as well.
