Introduction
Our program focuses on the ecology of plant and wildlife, and the conservation and management of natural resources. We aim to provide fundamental knowledge of biodiversity and advanced methodology to solve ecological questions. We welcome prospective students who are interested in all aspects of ecology to contact us and join our research groups.
Curriculum Planning for Undergraduate Students
The minimum graduation requirement is 128 credit hours. With the new modularized curriculum, students will take 30 credits of general courses and 8 credits of common curriculum, as well as 23 credits of foundation program of biological resources and 18 credits of core program of biological resources. In addition to the required courses listed above, students will take at least 32 credits of professional elected courses and choose 1 out of the 3 specialized programs including program of biodiversity, program of biological resources management, and program
of environmental education and ecological industry (16 credits) to meet the requirement. These courses will provide students the foundation to conduct research and understand biodiversity, characteristics of biological resources, and the relationships between organisms and environments.

Curriculum Planning for Postgraduate Students
The minimum graduation requirement is 30 credit hours, including 6 credits of professional required courses, 18 credits of professional elective course (at least 12 credits from this department), and 6 credits of thesis.
