The Department of Architecture, established in 1991, provides a modern architectural education which puts a strong focus on the interaction between architecture and the social environment, and green building technologies.
Our department enrolls about 560 students, and has 21 full-time members of faculty with outstanding academic qualifications from the best architectural schools in the world. They are dedicated in providing an architecture education that integrates practical skills and theoretical knowledge. In addition, we regularly invite senior architecture professionals to teach electives, such as landscape planning, interior design etc. to broaden students’ horizons.
We have set up six research groups which offer graduate students a wide choice of research topics in core and cross-disciplinary areas of architecture.
