Objective
The goal of the Department of Electrical Engineering (E.E.Dept.) is to cultivate applied technology specialists thatcan meet the current and future demands of relevantindustries. The department emphasizes technique-orientedresearch that links academia to industrial circles. Thisintelligence, communication, computer networking, andliving technology by advancing intelligent control systems.
Curriculum
Students must have a minimum of 148 credits to graduate, including 18 practical training credits, 2 self-study in English credits, and 128 bachelor degree teaching and research: Intelligent Control, Power and Energy Conversion, and Communication Systems. The provide students with a clear learning plan.
Space and Equipment
Located in the Electrical Engineering Hall, the E.E. Dept. occupies 5,000 square meters, including the following laboratories: the Electric Machinery Lab, the PSoC Lab, the Microprocessor Lab, the Programmable Logic Controller Lab, the Intelligent Control Lab, the Automation Control Lab, the DSP Lab, the Communication Systems Lab, the RFID Lab, the Electronics Lab, the CAE Lab and the ElectricPower Distribution Lab. These well-equipped laboratories provide students with an ideal environment for practical skill training.
Faculty and Research Interests
The E.E. Dept. currently employs 17 faculty members, including 2 professors, 10 associate professors, 3 assistant College of Engineering 15 professors, and 2 lecturers. Faculty members work with both graduate and undergraduate students in research topics of the Power and Energy Conversion Field, the Intelligent Control Field, and the Communication Systems Field.
Vision
The E.E. Dept. has received good grades from its IEET evaluation. In the future, the department will continue to recruit talented professionals and pursue research projects from government organizations and related industries. Our goal will always be to educate students to serve society through both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
