In response to a growing need for English teacher education, the Master of Arts degree program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language was established in 2004. The institute emphasizes language instruction theories, practical classroom techniques, and instructional technology. To help students improve their English language competence, all courses are conducted primarily in English and require written work in English. To complete the M.A. degree, students must fulfill the following requirements:
1.Total credits: 27
a. Required courses (6 credits)
i. Academic Writing (3 credits)
ii. Research Methods (3 credits)
b. Elective courses (21 credits)
2. One conference presentation or 3 conference attendances
3. A thesis (in English, with a minimum of 60 pages)
4. A thesis defense
