The mission of Graduate Institute of Health Care is to create an academic platform for health behaviors and healthcare management profession in order to foster the health care professionals in Taiwan by leveraging the resources from Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) and Chang Gung Medical Foundation (CGMF). The courses are designed for the topics of health behaviors and healthcare management by focusing on continuity of the health promotion, disease prevention, and long-term healthcare system.

The graduate program has five features:
Resource integration and restructuring: Integrating the faculties’ specialties including health behavior, mental healthcare, and elder management at Chang Gung University of Science and Technology with new recruited professions in industry.
Professional practicum and curriculum courses: Cooperative education with FPG, CGMF, and other medical facilities to enhance students’ practical profession in order to bridge the gap of theory and practice.
Organizing research teams to demonstrate the results of practice research: Integrating resources from FPG and CGMF, and strengthening industry-university collaboration and cooperative education.
Promoting industry-university collaboration to enhance practice research: promote industry-university collaboration research through students’ practical training to enhancing practice research.
Coping with international trend: Inviting international visiting professors and hosting international healthcare conferences.
