The Industrial Design Department was established in 1990, when Dayeh University was first founded. At the beginning, only a handful of teachers served multiple roles, in order to economize expenses. This was the beginning of the development of the Industrial Design Department. Four years later, thanks to the Department of Service, the school approved to establish the graduate school of the Industrial Design Department. With the complete design education and training, we can bring about the desired design talents.

Under the leadership of the Principal and the Dean, the department conducted research plans entrusted by the NSC, the government and the industry through technology integration to accumulate more practical experience in industrial design and highlight the characteristics of the department. In the future, to provide the students a more diverse concept in design, we will employ professors from all over the world and enhance both theory and practical experience.
