About the Department

1. In 1992, the bachelor’s degree program was established.

2. In 1999, a master degree program was included to increase opportunities of advanced studies for the university graduates and to enhance the academic research standard.

3. In 2002, an “on-the-job master degree program” was established to provide professionals the opportunities of advancing and furthering their professional knowledge.

4. In 2008, a Ph.D. program was established to actively cultivate scientific and technological talents capable of independent research and leadership to meet the demands of the society, and to promote the goal of national environmental sustainable development.
