The Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, established in in 1975, is one of the most recognized institutions in its field in Taiwan. All our degree programs are accredited by the Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET ), a non-profit and non-governmental organization, authorized to accredit engineering and technology education programs in Taiwan.
Our department has excellent facilities, including eight teaching and research laboratories and one testing centre. You will be taught by top academics in an inspiring and challenging learning environment. Our courses will not only give you a strong academic grounding in civil and construction engineering, they are also designed to help you develop the transferable skills that employers are looking for, such as problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
As we have been recruiting international students since 2005, our department is one of most internationalized departments at Taiwan tech. More than half of our graduate courses are taught in English. We admit about 20 international students each year, most of them are offered full scholarships.
