Objectives:
1.To develop students’ professional ability in discussing issues of the European Union.
2.To cultivate European language-speaking and cross-cultural communication talents.
3.To develop broadly internationalized visions for students as well as a decent global mobility.
4.To cultivate students’ ability in thinking and researching independently, in composing reports and in completing thesis.

Characteristics:
1.The curriculum focuses on political, economic, social and cultural issues of European countries and discussions towards Eurasian relations on European affairs, cross-cultural issues and European Union studies.
2.The course stresses on an individual counseling and the practice of the European mentoring system of counseling after entering our Graduate Institute.
3.The professional courses combine both theories and practices by providing seminars, cultural forums, business-associated courses and domestic/overseas internships in order to improve student’s cross-field and workplace competitiveness.

Professors:
1.The team of the professors consists of instructors from the French, German, and Spanish Department who specialize in diverse fields such as politics, economics, culture and European affairs.
2.On the basis of the needs of students’ courses, our Graduate Institute would invite full-time and part-time professors from different departments to instruct collectively.
3.We invite domestic and foreign professors related to the subjects to be in charge of certain professional courses.
4.We invite visiting professors to give courses in our Graduate Institute in order to broaden the international perspective of our students and to help them comprehend European Affairs in depth.

Career after Graduation :
1.Students can continue studying for doctor’s degree in the member states of European Union or our sister schools.
2.Students can work in public offices (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Overseas Community Affairs Council and Tourism Bureau).
3.Students can work in Foreign Representative Offices of European countries or Latin America in Taiwan.
4.Students can devote themselves to jobs related to international business, culture and arts.
5.Students can work as professional staff in transnational cultural enterprises, Exchange Foundations and international political, economic and social Organizations
