1. This is the unique Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering Department in Taiwan. The goal of education is to foster comprehensive engineering professionals with innovation abilities, leadership skills, humanities and global visions.
2. Fields of teaching and research include development and management of water resources, flood mitigation and drainage engineering, soil and water conservation, ecological engineering, coastal, ocean and harbor engineering, etc.
3. The Department owns a strong faculty, excellent research facilities, fruitful research achievements, outstanding industry-university collaboration, frequent international exchanges.

1.本系為臺灣唯一的水利及海洋工程學系，培育具有創新、領導能力、人文素養及國際觀的水利及海洋工程專業人才。
2.教研課題涵蓋水資源開發利用、防洪及排水工程、水土保持、生態保育、海岸（洋、港）工程，及水海相關災害防治策略與措施等。
3.本系師資完整、研究設備優良、科研成果豐碩、產學合作傑出、國際交流頻繁。
