Circular economy aims to improve the resource use efficiency and all without waste. Green chemistry involves chemical product and chemical process that achieve the three goals of cost reduction, energy reduction, and risk reduction by lowering the toxic substances, waste, and raw materials. Herein, we plan to take the circular economy as the guideline, green chemistry as the basis, nanomaterials as the platform, analytical chemistry and environmental chemistry as applications. We hope to expand the green chemistry, analytical chemistry, and environmental chemistry from academic level to applications for serving our society and citizens, demonstrating a grand opportunity to face the circular economy challenges.
We welcome undergraduate and MS students from India and Southeast Asian Nations to join our Green Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry Analytical Laboratory at National Tsing Hua University and to explore the challenges and opportunities of green analytical chemistry in the circular economy.
Interested applicants, please contact Mr. Govina Gorle, a Ph.D. candidate from India, for more details. The admitted student will be awarded a monthly scholarship to cover the traveling and living expense. GMLab will provide assistance in learning and researching activities. The applicants are also welcome to bring his or her own research work of idea to Taiwan as part of learning elements. Please state your expected accomplishments and request in your corresponding e-mail.
