「TEEP@AsiaPlus」Biosensors, IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic Devices), Microfluidic Biochips

In Biosensor Lab, our biosensing technology is an extremely multi-interdisciplinary field, now is also the key technology in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data. Our research is mainly focusing on the development of biosensor to match the unmet clinical needs. It is a kind of sensing platform like it IoT sensor, but with the additional function of bio-particles sensing for diagnostic purpose. We have established some systems for rapid diagnosis of infectious disease, especially toward pathogens like bacteria and virus. Of course, it is extremely possible to link the biosensing technology with IoT. We now in Prof. Hsien-Chang Chang’s Lab have a main medical device developing project with the integration of micro-scale image acquisition, image analysis, and algorithm-based diagnostic result interpretation. Please feel free to let us know if you are interested in the in vitro diagnostic medical device development, considering joining our team or others in our department.
