Introduction
The purpose of this department is to train the graduates with strictly economic theory as a basic foundation to offer professionals in Economics study and qualified personnel to serve in industries for Taiwan's economic growth. The graduates of the department is required to complete 128 credits in years, which include at least 30 credits of general education courses, 51 credits of professional required courses and 30 credits of professional elective courses of this department. Professional required courses include Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Economic Mathematics, Macroeconomics¸ Microeconomics, Econometrics¸ International Trade and International Finance. There are seven faculty members in this department, including three professors, 1 associate professor and 3 assistant professors. The department is actively working towards internationalization. We encourage students to be international exchange students or apply for a dual degree program.
