Goals

The Institute was established in August 1998. The graduate programs in the clinical medicine offers advanced research training courses of master and Ph.D. degree for the physicians and biomedical researchers. The major goals include:
1. To cultivated physician scientists (To cultivate physician scientists)
2. To solve the important clinical questions in Taiwan
3. To assist clinical research development in the University Hospital
4. To provide research service through core-laboratories


Institution Highlights

Our main research subjects include genetics, cancer, infectious diseases, neurology and cardiovascular diseases, and metabolism. The Institute of clinical Medicine and the Research Center are located on the 7th floor of the National Cheng Kung University Hospital. A variety of instruments are available within the institution for biomedical research and teaching. In addition to research education laboratory,we also have common instruments room, pure water room, cell culture room, photographic darkroom, isotope room, molecular medicine laboratory, flowcytometry, imaging and genetics core laboratory.
