Offering Language

   The language used in government elementary and junior high school is Mandarin. Alternative choices may be found in private schools. There are 17 educational institutions for foreign residents in Taiwan. Undergraduate courses in a national university are mainly taught in Mandarin. For foreign language classes or graduate level courses, English is the main language used.
